Engineering notes
Thermal compound is the cheapest component in a build and the one most often done badly. ZERO is dense enough not to pump out of the joint over heat cycles, thin enough to spread under mounting pressure alone.
It is electrically non-conductive, so a spill is a paper-towel problem, not a warranty problem. One syringe is honestly rated: eight applications, not three.
