Engineering notes
The K273 is named after the temperature at which water freezes — 273.15 K. It is the reference point we design against: every degree above ambient is a degree we went to work on.
The cold plate is skived, not soldered — 0.1 mm copper microfins cut from a single billet, so there is no thermal interface between fin and base. The pump sits on a silicone decoupling ring and runs at 2,800 rpm, where our anechoic chamber stops being able to hear it.
Every unit is pressure-tested, then run for 48 hours at full load before packing. The test log ships in the box.
