Engineering notes
Cases lose their thermal argument at the front panel. The SHELL 01 doesn't have a front panel in the traditional sense — it has a full-height intake grille machined into the aluminium, 41 % open area, with the filter on rails behind it.
Inside, the PSU shroud stops 40 mm short of the front so intake air washes the GPU from below as well. Cable management is a 23 mm channel with fourteen tie points and a door that closes over the mess.
