Engineering notes
Most fans are designed once and rebadged forever. The VANE 12's blade geometry went through 41 revisions in the tunnel before we froze it — the last 20 were chasing a 0.4 dB(A) hiss at 1,100 rpm that only showed up on 27 mm radiators.
Each fan is speed-binned after assembly. The three in a pack are matched within 2 % so they stay in phase instead of beating against each other.
