Two engineers walked out of a datacenter.
Kelvin was founded in 2019 by two people who spent a decade keeping server halls at temperature — where cooling isn't an aesthetic, it's an SLA. When they turned to their own gaming machines, the parts on offer felt like costume jewellery: lights everywhere, numbers nowhere.
So they applied the datacenter rules to the desktop: measure everything, publish the method, and treat noise as seriously as temperature. The company is named after the unit every one of those measurements ends in. Six products later, the rules haven't changed — the bench just got better.

Measure, then claim
Nothing goes on a spec sheet that didn't come off our own bench. Ambient temperature stated, load stated, methodology public. If we can't reproduce a number, we don't print it.

Silence is a spec
Noise is measured in an anechoic chamber, not estimated from a fan datasheet. A part that performs but hums has failed one of its two jobs.

No RGB tax
We don't light our parts. The money other brands spend on LED controllers goes into copper, bearings and testing hours. Your build can glow — our parts will just be cold.

Serviceable by design
Standard screws, published torque values, spare parts sold for a decade. A cooler you can't service is a subscription with extra steps.

Founded in a rented server room in Helsinki. First product: a batch of 400 rebuilt pump blocks, sold to the local sim-racing club.
2021
The anechoic chamber. Built into a former cold-storage unit — 14.2 dB(A) floor, cheaper than a lab, better than most.
2023
VANE 12 blade geometry frozen at revision 41. The fan that made binning a policy, not a marketing word.
2024
LOOP K273 ships. Every unit leaves with its own 48-hour test log — a habit we now can't imagine skipping.

Six products. Still one bench, still one chamber, still no marketing department to argue with the data.
