Engineering notes

Modern GPUs draw power in spikes — microsecond excursions far above their rated draw. ATX 3.1 exists because of it. The CURRENT 850 holds 200 % transients within spec, so the machine that never crashes under load stays that way.

Below 340 W the fan does not rotate at all. Above it, a 135 mm fluid-dynamic bearing fan follows the same acoustic philosophy as everything else we make: inaudible until it has a reason not to be.
